“Haq-er Ghar” DVD launched

“Haq-er Ghar”, a documentary by filmmaker Fakhrul Arefin, was launched at the Liberation War Museum auditorium on January 7 evening. Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu launched the DVD as the chief guest. Among others, Cultural Affairs Secretary Ranjit Kumar Biswas, noted filmmaker Morshedul Islam, Sammilito Sangskritik Jote general secretary Hasan Arif and the director of the film were present at the programme.

“Haq-er Ghar”, features the appalling eviction of the true followers of Fakir Lalon Shai from his shrine in Kushtia. The documentary captures the Guru-Shishya Parampara Baulism that the bard uniquely fashioned and popularised through
diffusing his “twatto” and mystic songs during his lifetime.

The DVD is released under the banner of Laser Vision.
