Greater Barisal Gonosangeet festival held

The two-day Greater Barisal districts' Gonosangeet festival ended in Patuakhali on Saturday. Fourteen cultural organisations of different districts in Barisal took part in the function at Shaheed Alauddin Children's park in Patuakhali town.

Sangskritik Jote of Baufal, Moni Sangeet Biddalaya in Barguna, performed on Saturday.
On the first day, Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote, Barguna, Gonoshilpi Sangstha (Barisal), Tansen Biddhaloy, Kotna Shilpi Goshti, Master Ajit Snagir O Nattya Sangsad and Satten Sen Shilpi Goshti (Dhaka) took part in the function. Several thousand people enjoyed the function.
Dr. Professor Shamsuddin, Vice Chancellor of Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU) formally opened the function on Friday as the chief guest while Dr. Shafiqul Islam, Mayor of Patuakhali Municipality was the chief guest at the closing session on Saturday.
