A slow loris, locally known as "Lojjaboti Banor", and a fishing cat were rescued in Rangamati's Bagaichhari upazila and Naniarchhar upazila.
The slow loris was released at Pablakhali Wildlife Sanctuary today, said Moynul Haque, forest beat official of the area.
Locals rescued the slow loris from Imam Para area last night, the official said.
