Srabanti is yet to sign contract for Bangladeshi film ‘Zokhom’
Popular Kolkata actress Srabanti Chatterjee is yet to sign a written agreement for her third Bangladeshi film named "Zokhom."
Rumours were rife that the director Apurbo Rai has roped in Srabanti to star opposite Zayed Khan after Apu Biswas opted out of the project.
The Daily Star contacted Srabanti's manager to confirm whether the actress has been finalised for the project or not.
"No written documents or deal has been signed as off now. They have not agreed to pay the remuneration fee that the actress has demanded. Till now we have not come to a final decision let's see what happens next," stated Srabanti's manager.
Apurbo Rai, director of the film, told Daily Star as to how they contacted the Tolluwood actress for the film.
"We had primary discussions with Srabanti in last month regarding signing for the film. We are hoping that we will go into production by 15 November. Initially, we had planned to star Apu Biswas in the movie but as she opted out for the project we had to take Srabanti in for the central character," mentions Apurbo
Earlier on Srabanti acted in two other Bangladeshi movies named "Bikkhov" and "Judi Ekdin" opposite Tahsan.
