‘Omar’ now streaming on YouTube
After receiving praise from audiences across all age groups on the big screen, OTT platforms, and television channels, Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz's directorial venture "Omar" has now made its way to YouTube. The film was released on the Cinemawala channel at 12 pm on May 22.
Raz's sixth feature film, "Omar" had its theatrical release during Eid-ul-Fitr on April 26, 2024. The thriller-comedy, packed with twists, begins with the murder of Chhoto Mirza, the son of the powerful Boro Mirza. At the scene are two men—Omar and Bodi—each blaming the other for the killing.
Omar claims Bodi is responsible for the death, while Bodi believes Omar committed the crime. Realising that if Boro Mirza discovers the truth, neither will be spared, the duo decides to hide the body. The narrative unfolds with gripping suspense as the story follows their attempt to conceal the murder and their eventual fate.

The ensemble cast includes Shahiduzzaman Selim, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Erfan Mridha Shiblu, Abu Huraira Tanvir, Nafis Ahmed, Rozina Siddiqui, Tanzila Haque Maisha, and Ayman Shimla. Indian actress Darshana Banik appears in a special dance number.
