Everyone here today, are like family to me: Pori Moni’s birthday message
Yesterday marked the birthday of Dhallywood's brightest star, Pori Moni. This birthday was extra special for the 'queen of hearts', as this was her first one after the birth of her son, Rajya. This would also be the year when her husband, Sariful Razz, earned critical success in the industry for his performances in "Poran" and "Hawa".
Previously, before she was married to Razz, Pori Moni only had her nanu to celebrate her birthday with. However, now she has a complete family of her own. The actress is well known for organising fabulous birthday parties, and this year's party was no different, taking place at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB).
The party was supposed to begin at 8 pm yesterday, but due to the heavy rainfall, it began at 10:30 pm.
The gorgeous hall was decorated with an ensemble of white feathers, along with blue and cream flowers. The whole venue was glittering in the lights of the gorgeous chandeliers.
Pori Moni looked like a beautiful swan, with her off-white feathery gown, while Razz looked dapper in a baby blue suit. Razz could be seen holding their 2-month-old son while they cut the huge birthday cake.
"I have already told everyone that this year, I will highlight the message of peace on my birthday. And thus, the whole stage has been donned in white. My own white gown is also resonating with the theme of peace. I really hope that everyone accepts my love and prays for my family. Everyone who is here today, celebrating my birthday, you are all like family to me," said Pori Moni.
As a special birthday gift, the song, "Tui Ki Amay Valobasis"—from the movie "Adventure of Sundarbans" directed by Abu Raihan Jewel—was played at the event.
In addition, a 15-minute documentary on Pori Moni's 'Bodle Jawa' life was screened for those at the party. The short-documentary shows the story of love and marriage, along with Pori Moni's transformation after marrying Sariful Razz.
Notably present at the birthday party were Siam Ahmed and his wife Abantee, director Raihan Rafi and actress Tama Mirza, among many others
