Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui: A love story with a twist

Following the unveiling of the poster on social media, the official trailer of "Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui" starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor was released on November 8 The film will release on December 10.

The trailer showcases Ayushmann playing the role of Manu, a body builder while Vaani will be seen as Zumba teacher Maanvi.  They fall in love and manu proposed marriage until he is taken completely by shock when Maanvi reveals that she is a trans woman.

Many fans commented on the trailer. Pointing out at Ayushmann's transformation for the film, one fan wrote, "This Is the Best Transformation Ever. Ayushmann Khurana Is Looking Hot." Another fan said, "Ayushmanniacs missed watching Ayushmann in a new film so much! Finally it's here! The trailer was super fun! Can't wait to watch the whole film in cinemas!"

Ayushmann was last seen in Shoojit Sircar's "Gulabo Sitabo" where he shared the screen with Amitabh Bachchan. Apart from "Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui", he is also looking towatds the release of "Doctor G" and "Anek".

Vaani is set to appear on the silver screen in "Shamshera" with Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. The film, directed by Karan Malhotra, will be produced by Yash Raj Films.
