Chhayanaut to celebrate Pahela Baishakh after 2 year hiatus

Chhayanaut will be celebrating its first Pahela Baishakh with an array of cultural programmes, at the Ramna Batamul after a two-year hiatus.
Earlier on, the cultural organisation celebrated Pahela Baishakh in 2020 and 2021 virtually due to the surge in Covid-19 cases, according to a press release.
Chhayanaut president Sanjida Khatun, executive president Sarwar Ali, vice presidents Atiur Rahman and Khairul Anam Shakil and general secretary Laisa Ahmed Lisa, were present at the press conference.
This year, the theme of the programme is "Naba Anande Jago", and the programme will start from 6:15 am.
Considering health guidelines, the organisation reduced the number of artistes this year.
