Death anniversary

Today is 99th death anniversary Jatin Mukherjee, popularly known as Biplobi Bagha Jatin, one of the principal leaders of Yugantar party that was the central association of revolutionaries in undivided Bangla against the British rule.
Jatin was born at Kaya village in Kumarkhali upazila of Kushtia in 1879.
Biplobi Bagha Jatin Parishad and the upazila administration will jointly hold different events, including a discussion and a drama.
Shariar Kabir, a writer; and Muntassir Mamoon, a historian, will address the discussion meeting.
