Today is the 11th death anniversary of Barrister Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed, former adviser to a caretaker government.
On the occasion, Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Smriti Parishad will place wreaths at his Banani grave, offer prayers and hold milad mahfil at an orphanage, says a press release.
Barrister Ishtiaq, also former attorney general, made immense contributions to the country's democratic movements and legal arena.
