Rail communication of Chittagong with the other parts of the country including Dhaka was restored after five hours of disruption following a train derailment at Fouzdarhat in the port city today.
Three bogies of a container train veered off the tracks around 10:00am, said Feroz Iftekhar, divisional transportation officer of Chittagong railway.
