Case filed against teenager for raping 4-year-old in Lalmonirhat
A 14-year-old boy has allegedly raped a four-year-old at a village of Lalmonirhat municipality.
The victim's mother filed a case accusing the teenager at the Lalmonirhat Sadar Police Station at 10:30pm last night, reports our Lalmonirhat correspondent quoting the police station's Officer-in-Charge Shah Alam.
"The alleged rapist fled while police conducted a drive to arrest him yesterday night. The victim was admitted to Lalmonirhat Sadar Hospital," the OC said.
"The alleged rapist lured the victim into his house by giving her biscuits and raped her," the OC said quoting the case statement. The victim fell sick and was crying after she returned home, and later told her mother about what happened, he added.
The matter was immediately reported to the police and later the child was admitted to the hospital.
Lalmonirhat Sadar Hospital's Resident Medical Officer Dr Manjur Morshed Dolon said the child was being treated but was not out of danger yet.
