4-month-old rescued five days after being abducted from Gazipur

A four-month-old boy was rescued today from Mymensingh after he was abducted five days ago from Gazipur.

Rescued Junaid is the son of one Md Delwar Hossain, a tenant at Naojor area of ​​Gazipur city, reports our Gazipur correspondent quoting police.

Two people were held in connection with the incident from Mymensingh. They are Maksuda Akhter Khushi (35) and her daughter Samia (14) from Gopalpur area under ​​Gauripur Police Station in Mymensingh.

They rented the same house as Delwar's in Gazipur. Samia is a student of a madrasa in Naojor area.

"Junaid was kidnapped on March 11, after the maid he was left with went outside the house leaving him alone. As he was nowhere to be seen, his father filed a case. Police later used digital technology and information to track down the boy while arresting the duo in the process," said Gazipur Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner (North) Zakir Hasan during a press briefing.
