Two siblings drown

Two siblings drowned in a canal at Munshikandi village in Shibchar upazila yesterday. The deceased are Lamia Aktar, 5, and her brother Deen Islam, 4, children of Atahar Ali of Munshikandi village. The two went to take bath in the canal near their house in the afternoon and drowned, said Jakir Hossain, officer-in-charge of Shibchar Police Station.
