Two GRP men held with Yaba in Bogra
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested two members of Government Railway Police (GRP) along with 975 Yaba tablets from Puranbazar area in Gabtoli upazila of the district on Sunday.
The arrestees, Enamul Haque, 26, son of Abdur Razzak of the upazila, and Mehedi Hasan, 26, son of Mokhlesur Rahman of Sonatola upazila, are serving at Chittagong GRP.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Senior Warrant Officer Abdul Wadud of Rab-12 said the law enforcers challenged the duo while they were moving suspiciously in the area around 10:00pm and seized the Yaba tablets from their possession.
The arrestees were yesterday produced before a court that sent them to jail, said Officer-in-Charge Shaheed Mahmud of Gabtoli Model Police Station.
