Sugar mill workers stage demo

Workers of Natore Sugar Mills staged a demonstration in front of the factory yesterday to press home their six-point demand. Workers of the state-owned mills, led by the president of the mills CBA Mohhamad Habibullah and general secretary Nazim Uddin, gathered at the gate in the morning and started demonstration. Their six-point demand includes fixing Tk 8,750 as the minimum salary. The protesters also threatened to go for a tougher movement if their demand is not met immediately.
