Robbers shoot 12 Bangladeshis at Libya camp
At least 12 Bangladeshi migrants suffered bullet wounds as robbers attacked their camp in Libya early on Friday.
One of the injured is now undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of a local hospital as his condition deteriorated, ASM Ashraful Islam, labour councillor at Bangladesh embassy in Libya, told Prothom Alo today.
In a text message, Ashraful told The Daily Star that a group of robbers attacked the camp where 100 Bangladeshi nationals were residing.
The robbers took away 16,000 dinars and 12 mobile sets from the Bangladeshis, the embassy official said.
