Red alert at land, airports to arrest 6 ABT men

Authorities have issued a red alert at the airports and land ports in the country to prevent the six alleged Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) men from leaving the country.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal told this to reporters at his residence this morning, reports Bangla daily Prothom Alo.

There are proofs of involvements of these six men in the killings of bloggers, writers and LGBT rights activists, the minister said, adding that steps are being taken to arrest them.

Earlier yesterday, Dhaka Metropolitan Police released photos of the six alleged ABT men and put bounties on them claiming they were involved in the killings of the bloggers, writers and LGBT rights activists.
