2 held with Phensidyl

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) on Sunday recovered 867 bottles of Phensidyl from a private car in Binnadangi area on Manikganj-Singair-Hemayetpur Regional Highway in Singair upazila and arrested two alleged drug addicts.

They also seized the car, said Major Abdul Hakim, deputy commander of Rab-4.

The arrestees are Kabir Ahmed, 40, of Katadaha village in Kushtia's Mirpur upazila, and Mintu Mia, 35, of Darshana village in Chuadanga's Damurhuda upazila.

On secret information, the elite force stopped the car in the area and arrested the duo with the Phensidyl, said the Rab official.
