112,606 pilgrims reach Saudi to perform Hajj

A total of 112,606 hajj aspirants reached Saudi Arabia till August 2 to perform the holy Hajj this year.

According to the bulletin of Dhaka Hajj office issued today, 165 hajj flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines and 156 flights of Saudi Arabian Airlines landed in Jeddah safely carrying the hajj pilgrims.

Among the total hajj aspirants, 105,690 hajjis went to Saudi Arabia under private management while 6,916 under government arrangement.

A total of 127, 106 are scheduled to perform hajj from Bangladesh this year.

Hajj will be held on August 10.
