Sun may shine in most parts of Bangladesh tomorrow, including Dhaka, after two days of gloom stirred up by what was a severe cyclonic storm.

The skies are expected to clear out from tomorrow morning and bring out the sun, Bazlur Rashid, a Met Official, told The Daily Star this evening.

However, Bangladesh Meteorological Department says rain or thundershower is on the forecast for the country in the outlook for next two days.

According to today’s weather report of 6:00pm, rain caused by the depression that was cyclone Fani may persist for more than eight hours.

“Around 90 per cent of Bangladesh’s sky, including that in the capital, is likely to clear out tomorrow,” Bazlur Rashid said citing latest observations.
