Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid chaired the meeting.

The decision was taken for conducting examinations in congenial environments, reads the press release.

The ministry also restricted the use of the mobile phones at the exam centres. Only the centre secretary can use a phone.

The candidates, who will take the mobile phones at the exam halls, will be expelled immediately, added the release.

The exams are scheduled to begin on February 1. The theoretical parts of the tests will end on February 24, which will be followed by practical tests onwards.
