Rajshahi raid: Female arrestee remanded
A Rajshahi court today placed a woman who was arrested during a police raid at a militant hideout in Godagari upazila of Rajshahi, on a ten-day remand in a case filed in connection to the incident.
Three days back, Sumaiya surrendered to police with her seven-year-old son Jubayer and one-and-a-half-month-old daughter Suraiya Akter Afia, after her parents and brother were killed in the raid.

Five suspected militants, including three of a family, were killed as they detonated two suicide belts and hacked a fireman to death during a 36-hour raid on the hideout on Thursday.
The five deceased are: Sumaiya's parents -- Sazzad and Lutfunnesa Bely, brother Al Amin, sister Karima and a madrasa student Ashraful.

Today, Senior Judicial Magistrate Saiful Islam of Rajshahi Sadar Cognizance Court-3 passed the order after Sub-inspector Naimul Haque of Godagari Police Station produced Sumaiya before the court with a 15-day remand prayer, reports our Rajshahi correspondent.
Law enforcers filed the case with Godagari Police Station last night against 15 people including Sumaiya and another 20 to 25 unnamed people in connection with the raid.
