PM Hasina condoles over London tower fire

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed her deep condolences over the deaths caused by the fire in London tower block which killed at least 30 people.

While returning from Sweden, the premier took a break at Heathrow airport in London and met Bangladesh High Commissioner to UK, Nazmul Quaunine, there.

PM Hasina directed the mission to assist all British-Bangladeshis affected by the fire in every way possible, said a press release of Bangladesh High Commission in London.

She prayed for the eternal peace of the souls who departed in the fire.

Previously, PM Hasina wrote to UK Prime Minister Theresa May expressing her profound shock and deep condolences over the incident.
