898 selected as govt primary school headmasters

Bangladesh Public Service Commission today recommended recruitment of 898 candidates in the 34th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination as headmasters in government primary schools.

PSC made the recommendations along with the registration numbers of the selected candidates in a press release floated this afternoon.

Due to shortage of vacancies in 34th BCS, those who could not secure any cadre and non-cadre first class positions were recommended to be recruited as headmasters in government primary schools in non-cadre second class positions, according to the release.

This is the highest number of candidates recommended for recruitment as government primary school headmasters by PSC so far.
