2 return from Indian shelter
Two Bangladeshi kids returned home from an Indian shelter home through Hili immigration inHakimpur upazila yesterday. They are an 11-year-old girl of Gopalganj district, and Goben Singh, 14, son of Bahadur Singh of Thakurgaon. Both spent 13 months at the shelter home in Maldah district of Pashchimbanga in India, said Md Rafiquzzaman, officer-in-charge of Hili immigration. Family sources said the girl went missing and a gang of human traffickers sent her to India through a border of Sathkhira. Later, Indian police caught her and put her in a shelter home in Maldah. On the other hand, BSF caught Goben Singh from Indian territory when he was crossing the border in Haripur upazila of Thakurgaon.
