More than 2,500 army personnel divided in 290 teams are discharging their duties in 61 districts today to contain the spread of coronavirus.
The army personnel have been deployed on Wednesday following government's decision, considering the risk of transmission and spread of coronavirus in the country, says a press release of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
"Today, 290 teams of Army have been working together with the local administration to contain coronavirus in 61 districts. The army men are doing their activities from the local cantonments without setting up outside camps," the release added.
