Sunni rally proposes formation of anti-militancy nat'l platform

Speakers yesterday at a Divisional Sunni Mohasamabesh (grand rally) in Chittagong's Lal Dighi Moidan (field) proposed to form an anti-militancy national platform comprising Olama Mashayekh (Islamic scholars), Sufi intellectuals and national personalities.

Ahle Sunnat Wal Jama'at Coordination Committee organised the rally aiming to protect the tradition of country's communal harmony and create mass opinion against terrorism and militancy. MA Motin, chief coordinator of the committee, spoke among others.
