Schoolboy killed in Kurigram, man in C'nawabganj

A school boy was killed and another person injured as their motorcycle collided head-on with a battery-run auto-rickshaw in Ghogadaho under Kurigram Sadar yesterday.

The deceased was Jashim Uddin, 15, son of Abu Sufian of Maratari village. He was a 10th-grader of Ghogadaho High School.

Jashim died on the spot. The injured motorcyclist Hafijul Haque, 18, was hospitalised.

In Chapainawabganj, a man was killed when a motorcycle hit him in Ranihati Bazar of Shibganj upazila Friday evening.

The deceased was Sahu Ali, 65, of Fatepur village under the upazila.
