Road crashes kill four
Four people were killed and six others injured in road accidents in the country yesterday.
Our Bogra correspondent reports, a three-wheeler driver was killed and four others were injured when a Dhaka-bound truck hit the vehicle at Krishnopur of Bogra-Dhaka highway in Sherpur upazila.
The deceased was Mokbul Hossian, 45, of Sirajganj district.
Our Savar correspondent adds, an auto-rickshaw driver was killed and two passengers were injured when a truck hit the auto-rickshaw on Dhaka-Tangail highway at Zirabo of Ashulia in Savar, outside the capital,.
The deceased was Abdul Jalil, 28. Police seized the truck.
Our Jamalpur correspondent reports, Moulana Azizul Hoque, 50, of village Battajor, assistant teacher of Shadhurpara Kosor Uddin Dakhil Madrasa, died after his motorbike collided with another motorbike at Noyeem Miar Bazar in Bogarchar union in Bakshiganj upazila of Jamalpur.
Our Gaibandha correspondent adds, Rabiul Islam, 48, died when a truck hit his motorbike near Gaibandha bus terminal.
