Road crashes kill 2, injure 5

A man was killed and three others were injured when a pickup-van fell into a ditch beside Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Putia area of Daudkandi upazila in Comilla yesterday.
The deceased was Moni Lal Das, 55, of Munshiganj.
Meanwhile in Horipur area of the upazila, Lolita Boumik, 67, of Joynagar village was killed and two people were injured when a vehicle hit a microbus on the highway.
