Road crashes kill 1, injure 16 in Ctg

Driver of a shallow engine-run three-wheeler was killed and his helper injured as a truck collided head-on with the vehicle at Chambal Bazar under Banshkhali upazila in Chittagong yesterday afternoon.

The deceased was Md Kamal, 28. Locals rushed the helper to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.

Police seized the truck.

Meanwhile, 15 passengers were injured as a bus “Basurhat Express” turned turtle at Baratakia in Mirsarai upazila of Chittagong yesterday.
