Obituary

Shamsunnahar Begum, mother of Pirojpur district correspondent of The Daily Samakal and private television channel i Fasiul Islam Bachchu, died at a hospital in Khulna on Saturday night. She was 82.

A former school teacher, Shamsunnahar, was buried at Pirojpur municipality graveyard following her namaz-e-janaza on Government Suhrawardi College premises yesterday.

She left behind one more son and two daughters.
