Two-day int'l conference at BUBT
A two-day international conference on sustainable development through cross-border cooperation began at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) yesterday, said a press release.
Several reputed researchers and professors from different countries are attending the conference.
A series of seven technical sessions on business, economics and information technology (IT) were held on the first day.
Chief Guest Prof Abdul Mannan, chairman of University Grants Commission (UGC) said, knowledge has no border. ”it is a political matter, and we can share knowledge or exchange it to develop ourselves together,” he said.
Prof Abu Saleh, vice chancellor of BUBT said the conference can help policymakers from different countries to make development plans and processes in a right path.
Professor Dr Partha S Ghosh, senior fellow of Institute of Social Sciences, New Delhi, delivered the keynote speech.
Prof Dr Shafique Ahmed Siddique, Member of BUBT Trust thanked participants at the conference.
Radwan Mujib Siddiq Bobby, councilor of Bangladesh Awami League and consultant at UNDP was present.
