Teacher sued for harassing woman

A female private university student in Gazipur yesterday sued a man who was her private tutor while she was in school for opening a fake Facebook page in her name and posting her pictures on the wall without her consent.

According to the case statement, Syedur Rahman Syed, teacher of Rajendrapur Kanchi Kancha School, tried to harass her while she was in school.

She was married to another man and was admitted to a private university in Dhaka after she completed her college education.

Syed also tried to attack and kidnap her, said the complaint filed with Joydevepur Police Station.
