70 business faculty students get DU Dean's Award

Seventy students of different departments of the Faculty of Business Studies of Dhaka University (DU) yesterday received the Dean's Award for their outstanding academic performance.

Crests and certificates were handed to the awardees by Vice-Chancellor Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman at a programme in the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban on the campus.

Addressing the programme, the VC urged the awardees to prepare themselves with merit, patriotism and honesty and equip themselves with humanitarian values to serve the nation. 

Dean of Faculty of Business Studies of DU, Prof Shibli Rubayat Ul Islam, presided over the programme while DU Treasurer Prof Md Kamal Uddin addressed it as special guest.
