Maritime university gets new VC

Rear Admiral M Khaled Iqbal has been appointed as the new vice-chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University.

President Abdul Hamid, also the chancellor of the university, yesterday appointed him as the VC, said a press release.

Rear Admiral ASM Abdul Batten, its first VC, handed over the duties to the new VC at a programme.
