Light vehicle drivers in Ctg demand salary, bonus by 20th Ramadan

Chittagong Halka Motorjan Chalok-Sramik Union yesterday formed a human-chain in front of Chittagong Press Club, demanding salary and Eid bonus by the 20th Ramadan.

The speakers alleged that a section of the owners of the vehicles (under three tonnes passenger vehicles) start terminating drivers showing trivial excuses during Ramadan; but the main reason was to deprive them of Eid bonus.

They also urged the owners to not to deprive the drivers from their just rights and stop the termination of the drivers.
