Lawyer's wife murdered in Dhaka

A woman was murdered by unidentified assailants inside her own residence in Dhaka's Nikunja area today.

Lima Akhter, 40, was the wife of lawyer Rakibul Islam, police says.

Rakibul returned home and found his wife's dead body in a pool of blood around 5:30pm this afternoon, Kudrat-e-Khuda, assistant police commissioner of Dhaka cantonment zone, told The Daily Star quoting the husband.
