Jawhar Mallick

Today is the eighth death anniversary of Jawhar Mallick; a freedom fighter, a leader of Chattra Union in the 60s and a noted journalist.

He died of lung cancer in 2009. He served Bogra Journalist Union as the vice-president and the Daily Karatoa as the assistant editor.

His son journalist Shupanto Mallick asked all relatives, friends and well-wishers to pray for the salvation of his departed soul.
