Fire guts cotton godowns, mango store, spice mill in Gazipur

Fire gutted two cotton godowns, a mango store and a spice mill at Halim Market in Chakraborty area of Gazipur city yesterday.

Abdul Hamid, senior station officer of Savar EPZ Fire Station, said on information fire-fighters rushed there around 12:00pm and doused the fire after an hour. However, the reason of the fire and the extent of damage could not be ascertained immediately.
