Body of missing boy found in Dhaka’s Khilgaon

The body of a minor boy was found in a water body near his house in Khilgaon area of Dhaka today, two days after he went missing from the area.

The victim, Al Amin, 10, son of Abul Hossain of Nandipara area of Khilgaon, went missing since the morning on March 19, said Sub-Inspector Faruk of Khilgaon Police Station.

Locals recovered the body after his decomposed body was found floating in the water body around 11:00am, the SI said.

Al Amin did not know swimming and might have drowned in the water body, the police official said.

The body has been sent to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy, he added.
