Bangladeshi construction worker dies in Saudi Arabia

A Bangladeshi worker died in a fall from a five-storey building in Saudi Arabia on Friday.

The deceased is Anisur Rahman, 28, of Chowgachha upazila in Jessore.

The wife of the deceased, Aklima Khatun, said her husband went to Saudi Arabia on March 21 this year. He got the job as a labourer in the construction company through a broker. While working on an under-construction building on Friday, he accidentally fell off the fifth floor and died on the spot.

The couple had two sons -- five and two years old.
