30,000 yaba tablets seized in Ctg

Rab in a drive in Chittagong on Friday seized 30,000 pieces of yaba tablets worth Tk 1.2 crore and arrested two people in this connection.

The arrestees were Md Nur Uddin, 36, hailing from Narayanganj and Al Amin, 30, of Bagerhat, said Rab officials.

On information, Rab-7 conducted a drive at Nimtala Bishwa Road in the city and arrested the duo, claimed ASP Sohel Mahmud, assistant director of Rab-7.
