200 illegal gas lines disconnected in Gazipur

A mobile court yesterday disconnected over 200 illegal gas connections to households at Rajendrapur in Gazipur Sadar upazila.

The court, led by Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited, and the district administration, also seized about 3,500-meter gas pipe and other equipment used for the illegal connections.

Another mobile court, led by Gazipur Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Ashraf Uddin, fined a departmental store, Maisha Varieties Store, at RP Gate Bazar Tk 10,000 for selling expired products and not displaying price list in the store.
