To promote e-Commerce & online shopping in regional cities, a three-day e-commerce fair is to be held in Chittagong from May 28th to May 30th. Computer Jagat, the local ICT magazine, is organizing this fair for the seventh time at Chittagong District Stadium, Chittagong. Mohammad Abdul Haque, assistant editor of Computer Jagat informed BYTES that the fair is expected to increase online trading by building awareness. He said: 'The number of e-commerce sites increased fivefold to 500 in the past two years. Around 2,000 companies are doing business through Facebook. Through these fairs we want to promote them. In addition to that we want to inspire the up and coming entrepreneurs so that they see the potential of this market.'

Renowned ICT personalities and people related to the country's e-commerce industry will deliver key-note speeches in different seminars and workshops.
