Parveen Mahmud independent director of Berger

Parveen Mahmud has been appointed independent director and the audit committee member of Berger Paints Bangladesh.

She has worked as the first woman president of the Institute of Chartered Accountant and council member for three years.

She has also worked in Brac, ActionAid, the Centre for Policy Dialogue, Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation, the MIDAS, Underprivileged Children Education Program, Ghashful, Grameenphone, Linde Bangladesh and Shasha Denim during her long career.

She won the Begum Rokeya award in 2006 for her contributions to women empowerment. She was the former managing Director of Grameen Telecom Trust.
