KFC opens outlet in Mirpur-12

KFC Bangladesh, an international franchise restaurant chain run by Transcom Group, has recently opened an outlet at Mirpur-12 in Dhaka.

The globally renowned brand, KFC, has been operating in Bangladesh since 2006 with its flagship outlet in Gulshan-1.

The new outlet in Mirpur-12 took the number of KFC restaurants in the country to 24.

Elias Uddin Mollah, a lawmaker, and Amit Dev Thapa, chief executive officer of Transcom Foods Ltd, were present at the inaugural ceremony, said KFC in a press release.

KFC distributed meals among the underprivileged children from Mojar School on the occasion.

Muradul Mustakin, head of marketing of KFC Bangladesh, and Sheikh Zahir Ahmad, operations manager, were also present.
