Run to Give 2019 was hosted by Four Points by Sheraton Dhaka, Le Meridien Dhaka and Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel today.

“Run to Give” is an Asia Pacific-wide initiative where Marriott International Hotels and Resorts across the continent come together to organize charity run to raise funds for a variety of carefully chosen charities, according to a press release from Four Points by Sheraton Dhaka.

This year Four Points by Sheraton Dhaka hosted the event along with Le Meridien Dhaka and Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel. It encourages hotel associates, their family members, its owners, guests, key partners and the local Dhaka community and its people to participate in healthy well-being activities paving the way to living their best lives.

The event was inaugurated by the General Manager of Four Points by Sheraton Dhaka Ms Noeke Kusuma, Mr Constantinos S Gavriel, General Manager Le Meridien Dhaka, and Mr Jerome Lienart, General Manager Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel, the release said.  

Renowned celebrities and public figures Asif Azim, Irfan Sajjad and Mousumi Hamid also joined there as the chief guests of the event.

The proceeds of the event will go to their non-profit charity partner – “ASHIC, serving childhood cancer Foundation”. The organization works towards improving the quality of life for children living with cancer in Bangladesh, through any means possible. Their long-term goal is to establish state-of-the-art research hospitals throughout Bangladesh, the release added.
