BTCL gets new MD

Md Rafiqul Matin yesterday took charge as managing director of Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Ltd (BTCL).

He was previously the deputy managing director, having worked as project director for “Cyber Threat Detection and Response” of the telecommunication division, says a press release.

Matin attained BSc and MSc degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
